PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings passed by the respondent in RFL/Pudukottai/114/2025 dated 10.06.2025 and consequently to direct the respondent to register the General Power Deed (for other purposes) dated 05.06.2025 presented on 10.06.2025 by the petitioner along with his wife before the respondent, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned proceedings dated 10.06.2025 and consequential direction to the respondent to register the General Power Deed (for other purposes) dated 05.06.2025 presented on 10.06.2025, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The objection of the respondent is that a joint Patta was issued by the Revenue Department to several persons, therefore, the identification of the property is in dispute.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she has already filed a petition before the Revenue Department seeking issuance of a separate Patta.

4. Considering the facts of the case, after obtaining separate Patta, the petitioner is directed to produce the general power of attorney to the respondent. On such receipt, the respondent is directed to consider the same in accordance with law.

5. With these directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. There shall be no order as to costs.
