This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to grant permission to perform the programme of Sri Valli Thirumana Drama and Adal Padal on 06.09.2016, night at Arulmigu Sri Pillathikaruppanasamy, Arulmigu Sri Rakkachi Amman Kovil Veedu located at V.Pudhukulam, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2016. 2.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents undertakes to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.08.2016 within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

5.In view of the undertaking given by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 06.09.2016. No costs.
