Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue the death certificate to the petitioner as his father by name M.Subban was died on 02.07.2015 by considering the challan and affidavit, dated 12.02.2016 and also the last application dated 04.04.2016, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for issuance of death certificate of the petitioner's father, by name, M.Subban, died on 02.07.2015. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he made an application on 04.04.2016, the same has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 04.04.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
