ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to refund a sum of Rs.11,16,500/- said to have been deposited as EMD.

2.According to the petitioner, he is entitled to get the said EMD refund, as the trees were cut and removed by him already. Whether the petitioner is entitled to such refund or not is for the respondents, more particularly, the second respondent to consider and decide. Therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. However, as a representation made by the petitioner seeking for refund is still pending, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.07.2016, and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
