due to the petitioner as wages from third respondent along with interest as per the order dated 17.12.2018 in P.W.No.8 of 2017 and further directing the first respondent to recover the amount and to pay the same to the petitioner within a period as stipulated by this Court.

This matter came up for consideration before this Court on 20.03.2025. As there was no representation for the petitioner, this Court, having perused the records, directed Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, to get instructions in this matter as to why the amounts claimed under this writ petition are not paid to the petitioner.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court by Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, that the petitioner
subsequently filed yet another writ petition in W.P.(MD) No.19819 of 2024 and a Coordinate Bench of this Court, by an order dated 28.08.2024, permitted the third respondent to pay the amounts due to the petitioner to the tune of Rs.3,20,807/- at the rate of Rs.5,000/- per month from April, 2024 onwards and in terms of the said order, the petitioner is being paid the amounts regularly.
3. In the light of the above, as there is no representation for the petitioner even today, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss this writ petition for non-prosecution.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
