O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2016 and direct the 2nd respondent to make the payment of Rs.1,77,57,596/- in favour of the company.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner Company and the 2nd respondent have entered into a contract to carry out Sewage Pumping Work and Sewage Collection during the period between 15.07.2010 and 15.07.2013; the contract was extended for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

further period of six months on 19.07.2013 upto 31.12.2013; that the job assigned has been successfully completed by the petitioner company; for the work done between 01.04.2012 and 31.12.2013, the amount of Rs.1,77,57,596/- has not yet been paid; even after several reminders, the last one of which was on 16.02.2016, the respondents have not shown any interest to release the amount and are lethargic in settling the balance amount. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that all the dues of the petitioner will be settled within a period of six months from today.

5. In view of the above undertaking given by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
