ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police not to continuously call the petitioner for enquiry and detain her in the police station for a case that is pending against the husband of this petitioner.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate would submit that there are totally 15 cases pending against the husband and he is absconding. Therefore, the respondent police wanted to enquire the petitioner in order to know the whereabouts of the husband of the petitioner. 4.In the facts and circumstances of the case, if the respondent police want to enquire the petitioner, they shall issue a summon to the petitioner in that regard and thereafter conduct enquiry. 5.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions.
