Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11149 of 2019 2.The petitioner's complaint is that 35 sovereigns of gold were stolen from his house. He suspects one Muthu Prakash who happens to be his neighbour. The petitioner would specifically allege that the fourth respondent is not properly investigating the matter. He therefore seeks transfer of investigation to CBCID. The petitioner's prayer is opposed by the fourth respondent who filed a detailed counter affidavit.
3.I am of the view that it is not for this Court to go into the matter at this stage. However, in the interest of justice, the second respondent is directed to personally monitor the investigation. The second respondent will see if the investigation is being conducted on the right lines and whether the issues raised by the petitioner are being properly addressed. 4.This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
