This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents herein to survey and demarcate the land in joint patta No.1369 in Re.Survey No.387/1 measuring 7 1⁄2 cents at Lingavadi Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District. The petitioner had given applications on 17.05.2023 and on 24.09.2021.

2.Heard Mr.M.Maran, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.The petitioner had purchased 71⁄2 cents of lands in the eastern portion of the western side out of a larger area of 34 1⁄2 cents. The patta is in the name of the vendor. The petitioner had purchased the property by a document registered in Doc.No.74/2019, dated 09.01.2019 registered in the office of the Sub Registrar, Natham, Dindigul. 4.A direction is given to the respondents to examine the sale deed of the petitioner, issue notice to the owner of the larger area of the land, namely, Sevugan, Parthasarathi, Ramachandran and Jeyaramachandran and on their appearance get a copy of patta No.1369, come to personal satisfaction about the bona fide of the application given by the petitioner herein and then, if there are no objections, proceed to survey the land. If there are objections, a report may be filed. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
