Prayer Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Kalainaya Nadana Natiya Nigalchi scheduled to be held on 26.07.2019 at night in connection with Aadi Festival of Melur Arulmighu Sri Mariyamman Kovil, Sa.Ayyampalayam Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2019. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural program ie., Kalainaya Nadana Natiya Nigalchi on 26.07.2019 at night in connection with Aadi Festival of Melur Arulmighu Sri Mariyamman Kovil, Sa.Ayyampalayam Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2019. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 26.07.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 22.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
