ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.ARUL MURUGAN, J.) The Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate criminal action against the 7th respondent for illegally alienating temple properties and a direction to the respondents 4 to 6 to take appropriate action under Section 78 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act, 1959, to evict the encroachers claiming any right under the void sale deeds executed by the 7th respondent and his father. 3/6
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 4 and 5, based on written instructions dated 11.08.2025, submitted that proceedings under Section 78(2) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 have already been initiated and the enquiry has been fixed on 26.08.2025. 3.In view of the said proceedings, no further orders are required. However, it is made clear that the authorities concerned shall proceed with the enquiry and conclude the proceedings by passing final orders as expeditiously as possible.
4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
