This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform Vinayagar Chathurthi Festival scheduled to be held on 05.09.2016 to 07.09.2016 in the place Manthai Chavadi Karukattanpatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District.

2.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents undertakes to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.08.2016 within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

5.In view of the undertaking given by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.08.2016 and pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 04.09.2016.
