O R D E R

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to lay down main water pipeline properly, so as to facilitate free flow of water supply to the petitioner's house, by considering his representation, dated 07.04.2016.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen residing at No.191, Thiruvalluvar Street, Mullai Nagar, Madurai-2. He has applied for water connection from the respondent Corporation by depositing Rs.1,000/-. Subsequently, he was provided with water connection work order by the respondent on 20.12.1999 and the water connection No.NG2459 also shows that he was given water connection. But, the new pipeline was not properly installed, so as to facilitate free flow of water to all the nearest houses. The petitioner's house is not getting the water facility. The reason is that the water supply was completely cut off from 10 feet distance from his house. Therefore, no flow of water is coming for the past one year. Hence, he has given a representation on 25.02.2016, to the respondent to repair the pipeline and also to provide water supply. But, till date the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner has come to this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
