O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner in order to complete the construction of the petitioner's house. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was enquired and it was closed on 30.06.2023 by directing the petitioner to work out his remedy before the competent Court. The copy of the closure report was also placed before this Court.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there are serious allegations made in the complaint and without proper enquiry, the complaint has been closed.

4.In the considered view of this Court, if the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed, that does not in any way foreclose the options available to the petitioner. The petitioner can always approach the learned Magistrate and file an application seeking for registration of FIR. Except giving this clarity and liberty, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition.

5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 08.11.2024 NCC :
