O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent i.e., the Secretary to Government, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (EII(2)) Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the above said disciplinary action initiated in R.C.No.32737/EG3/2014, dated 05.11.2014 by the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries Commerce, Chennai within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.V.Pandi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer now sought before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following order:- "The first respondent, namely, The Secretary to Government, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(EII (2)) Department, Chennai, is directed to pass appropriate orders on the disciplinary action initiated in R.C.No.32737/EG3/2014, dated 05.11.2014 by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
