ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the fifth respondent in respect of the allegations levelled against her, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has contended to the effect that several representations have been given to various authorities and thereby levelled so many allegations against the fifth respondent, but no fruitful action has come out and under the said circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent has contended to the effect that for the purpose of enquiring into allegations to be levelled against Village President, Ombudsman has been established by virtue of Tamil Nadu Local Bodies Ombudsman Act, 2014 and the petitioner without approaching the said Committee has erroneously approached this Court and therefore the present writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 4.

Considering the fact that already an Act has been passed for the purpose of enquiring into allegations to be levelled against the Village President, this Court is of the view that necessary direction cannot be given to the respondents 1 to 4 and therefore the present writ petition deserves to be dismissed. 5.In fine, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(Records) /True Copy/ Sub-Assistant Registrar To 1.The Director of Panchayat Rural Development Department, Panagal Maligai, Saidapet, Chennai.
