Heard both sides. By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. No counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of the Respondents.

2. According to the Petitioner, his representation, dated 16.08.2016, seeking to rectify the extent of pathway of 7 cents, which was wrongly mentioned in UDR in S.F.No.449/3 at Vettamangalam Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District, instead of 22 cents, is

pending before the Respondents- 1 to 3, without any disposal or any significant progress. Hence, he has filed the present Writ Petition.

At this stage, the Learned Government Advocate for R-1 to R3 brings it to the notice of this Court that as per G.O.Ms.No.385, dated 17.08.2004, the District Revenue Officer, Karur District, is the proper Authority before whom the representation is to be submitted by the Petitioner. Therefore, if the Petitioner submits a proper representation to the District Revenue Officer, Karur, then, the said Authority will take necessary action within the time to be determined by this Court.

Considering the fact that the Petitioner is to submit his representation in the subject matter in issue to the proper Authority, namely, the District Revenue Officer, Karur District, at this stage, this Court, without precipitating the matter any further, simply directs the Petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the District Revenue Officer, Karur District, within ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and to seek redressal of his grievance in the manner known to Law and in accordance with Law.

In case, the Petitioner projects a fresh representation/proper representation before the concerned Authority, namely, the District Revenue Officer, Karur District, then, the said Officer, is to pass a reasoned speaking order on the said representation of the Petitioner, within a period of three weeks thereafter (Of course after adhering to the Principles of Natural Justice by issuing notice to the Petitioner and others concerned if any, if situation so warrants). Needless for this Court to make a significant mention that the Petitioner is to render his assistance and unstinted co-operation to the Authority concerned so as to enable the latter to do needful in his favour in the subject matter in issue, within the time afore stated.

With the above said Direction(s)/Observation(s), this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
