O R D E R
This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 4 to award a mark in Question No.44, Paper-II of Written Competitive Examination for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET 2016) on the basis of the Key Answer issued by the respondents 2 to 4 based
on the petitioner's representation, dated 04.11.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Though the Writ petition is for issuing a positive direction, the learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated Nil, addressed to the respondents.
5. This Court in a similar situation has directed the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the similarly placed person who is the petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.41694 of 2016. Hence, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated Nil, but acknowledged by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order.
