This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. According to the petitioner, the second respondent police registered a F.I.R. against the petitioner's son in Crime No.159 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of I.P.C. Now, under the guise of conducting enquiry in the above F.I.R., the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner. In the above circumstances, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the petitioner's son is an accused in another crime number, and the petitioner was only asked to appear for an enquiry, the second respondent police is only conducting investigation and he is not harassing the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that, the second respondent is not harassing the petitioner as the petitioner is not an accused in the above said crime number, this criminal original petition is closed. However, the second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner.
