ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the second respondent to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet in H.S.No. 26/2016 which was opened by the third respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 08.07.2022. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has sent the representation, dated 08.07.2022, seeking to remove his name from the history sheet in H.S.NO. 26/2016. But, till now no action has been taken. Hence, this petition has been filed. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the respondent police is ready to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 08.07.2022. 2/4

4.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to consider the representation, dated 08.07.2022, on merit and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
