: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue Hindu-Kattunayakkan Schedule Tribe Community Certificate to the petitioner, namely, M.Marimuthu and his daughter, namely, M.Lokitha Harini and his son, namely, M.Vishwa Dev, on the basis of the application dated 06.02.2017 within a time frame.

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.V.Palanichamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents. 2. The petitioner seeks for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue Hindu-Kattunayakkan

Schedule Tribe Community Certificate to the petitioner, namely, M.Marimuthu, his daughter - M.Lokitha Harini and his son - M.Vishwa Dev, on the basis of the application dated 06.02.2017 within a time frame.

3. Seeking issuance of community certificates to the petitioner, his daughter - M.Lokitha Harini and his son - M.Vishwa Dev, certifying that they belong to Hindu-Kattunayakkan Schedule Tribe Community, the petitioner submitted an application dated 06.02.2017 before the third respondent and the same is pending consideration.

4. In the light of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the contention raised by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.02.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the said application along with a copy of this order and forward the same to the third respondent.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
