ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to conduct festival of Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Temple at Burma Colony, Navalpattu Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk in Trichy District. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the festival of the said temple is to be celebrated by all the people residing in that locality.

3.The temple is not falling under the administrative control of HR & CE Department. Therefore, it is for the local people to arrive a consonance or in the event of any dispute, approach the competent authority to resolve the same. However, High Court cannot entertain such Writ Petition under the guise of Public 2/4

Interest Litigation. Therefore, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent authority, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
