Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 18.03.2017 and take necessary action for proper administration of the temple administration by appointing a fit person to the famous Arulmigu Subramaniasamy Thirukovil situated at Kariapatti Town Panchayat, Kariapatti, Virudhunagar District. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation dated 18.03.2017 in the matter of appointment of fit person for the Temple mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents 1 to 4. Considering the nature of the relief sought in the Writ Petition, notice need not be sent to the fifth respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that a representation has been given on 18.03.2017 and the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to look into the representation dated 18.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of one month.
