ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 12.06.2019, to proceed along with further course of action in changing the Survey no.177/77 instead of wrongly mentioned the Survey No.177/75 in Adangal within a stipulated period of time. 2.Heard Mr.K.Shanmugaraja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
4.The petitioner, in order to seek for rectification on the Adangal issued in S.No.177/77 as the same was entrusted by way of assignment under landless poor category in the year 2003, made a representation on 12.06.2019 to the respondents. W.P.(MD)No.16810 of 2019 learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, if the said representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 is decided by the respondent, within a time frame, on merits and in accordance with law, the petitioner would be satisfied.
5.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 would be decided by the respondent, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the following direction:
"The respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 and pass final orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
