ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate for the first respondent and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 to 4.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide agriculture electricity service connection on the petition's land in S.No.97/3, in Patta No.1190 in Pulivalam Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District by disposing petitioner's representation, dated 21.10.2024, 2/5
bearing Application Reference No.2006185012532.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has applied for agriculture electricity service connection on the petition's land. However, the same has not been considered.
4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 to 4, on the other hand, would submit that there is an objection raised by the petitioner's neighbour and therefore, the petitioner has to work out the remedy in accordance with the Rule 3 of the Works of Licensees Rules, 2006 issued under Sections 176 and 67 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
5. In the alternative, it is submitted that the petitioner can move the concerned Judicial Magistrate under Section 16 the Electricity Act, 2003. Be that as it may, the petitioner's application may be considered and disposed of on merit within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after, due notice to the parties, who are raising objection. 3/5
6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the above observations. No costs.
