Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission and police protection for conducting T.V.S 50 Bike Race as scheduled to held on 14.04.2017 at about 09.00 a.m., to 07.00 p.m., from Namboornipatti Sri Vinayagar Temple Road to Azhinichi Bridge Stop, via Keelanilaikottai on the occasion of Chithirai Varuda Pirappu Vizha for Sri Vinayagar Temple at Nambooranipatti, K.Rayapuram Post, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2017. [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting TVS 50 Bike Race on the basis of the representation dated 31.03.2017 alleged to have been given by the petitioner, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has contended to the effect that for conducting TVS 50 Bike Race a separate insurance premium is required. Under the said circumstances, TVS 50 Bike Race cannot be used for the purpose mentioned in the petition and therefore the relief sought in the Writ Petition cannot be granted.

4.Considering the representation made on the side of the respondents, the relief sought in the Writ Petition cannot be granted and therefore the same deserves to be dismissed. 5.In fine, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
