..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant permission and protection for Sports Events scheduled to be held on 14.01.2017 to 16.01.2017 in connection with "Thai Pongal Festival" at "Arulmigu Maduraiveeran Kovil" at Nilakottai Town, NIlakottai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering representation of the petitioner's dated 10.01.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Sports Events from 14.01.2017 to 16.01.2017 on the basis of representation dated 10.01.2017, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that a representation has been given on 10.01.2017. But the same has not been considered. 4.Considering the fact that already a representation has been given on 10.01.2017, the following order can be passed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Nilakottai Police Station is directed to look into the representation dated 10.01.2017 and dispose of the same as early as possible.
