ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue Non Traceable Certificate to the Petitioner relating to the properties situated at Vadakarai Village, Thirumangalam, covered under Registered Document No.65/2001 dated 17.01.2001, on the file of the Sub Registrar, Srirangam, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2026, within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's Original sale deed in Document No. 6782/2012 dated 22.08.2012 was misplaced and lost, for which the petitioner had given a complaint on 05.05.2026. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the Director General of Police had already issued Circular Memorandum, dated 01.04.2022 in this regard with respect to issuance of NOC, where the applicants have to produce certain documents. On such production of the documents, the respondent police will take necessary steps.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. The petitioner has given a complaint for issuance of NOC on 05.05.2026. The petitioner is further directed to produce all the necessary documents as required by the respondent police in terms of the Circular Memorandum, which is extracted below:

6. On production of the above said documents as required in the Circular Memorandum extracted supra, the 2nd respondent police is directed to take necessary steps for issuance of NOC to the petitioner with respect to the Original sale deed in Document No.65/2001 dated 17.01.2001 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Srirangam, by considering the representation dated 05.05.2026.
