Heard Mr.T.Thirumurugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.J.Lawrance, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse her husband's service benefits, pension, leave salary, commutation and the remaining gratuity amount along with other consequential benefits with nominal interest by considering her representation dated on 20.06.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Mr.J.Lawrence, learned Standing Counsel for the fourth respondent submitted that due to the financial constrains faced by the fourth respondent Corporation, they are unable to settle the dues to the petitioner.

4. Though the learned Standing Counsel has submitted that the fourth respondent Corporation is facing financial constrains, that cannot be the reason to withhold the dues payable to the petitioner.

5. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of and the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2024 and pass orders to disburse the dues within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
