ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 22.09.2016 and initiate the proceedings within a stipulated time as prescribed by this Court in the form of writ of mandamus.

2.It is averred in the writ petition that the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent Police on 22.09.2016 alleging threat and intimidation, against one Neethipathi and the Police has not taken any action. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent, submits that enquiry was conducted on the petition dated 22.09.2016 and the same was closed.

4.In view of the above representation of the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives and this writ petition is liable to be dismissed. It is needless to mention that the petitioner has to redress his grievance in the manner known to law. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
