For Respondent : Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 31 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A) and 506(i) IPC in Crime No.31 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the petitioner and the defacto complainant took place on 11.02.2018. After the marriage, the accused demanded more dowry and threatened her. Hence, the present case has been registered.

CRL OP(MD). No.13322 of 2021 petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

5. It appears that the petitioner is aged about 40 years and the defacto complainant is 25 years. Knowing the age of the defacto complainant, the petitioner has married the defacto complainant and ruined the life of the defacto complainant.

6. Considering the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
