O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct "Free Medical Camp" free social work on 05.09.2016 in commemoration of 145th birthday function of the National Leader V.O.Chithambaranar, before the V.O.Chithambaranar Statue, which was situated in the private land in Periyaoorseri, Muduvarpatti Road, Alanaganallur, Madurai District. 2.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that every year "Free Medical Camp" and free social work is being conducted by the petitioner in commemoration of Birthday function of the National Leader V.O.Chithambaranar and that for this year, a representation was given to the respondent on 29.08.2016 seeking permission and protection for the same, but however, the same was not considered by the respondent so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that if the venue is shifted to Manthai, there is no objection for the respondent to grant permission subject to the certain conditions.

6.The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions would submit that the petitioner is ready to shift the place at Manthai. The said submission is recorded. 7.In view of the above undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the free medical camp and social work on 05.09.2016 at Manthai, Alanganallur, Madurai District with conditions, if any.

8. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
