Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to santion the Swatanthara Sainik Samman Pension with alal arrears forthwith to the petitioner based on the proposal sent by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in Roc.H2/20333/2018 dt.2.5.2019 and in the light of the order passed in W.P.No.6498 of 2022 dated 12.02.2014. ORDER:- This Writ Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Sukumar, Advocate for the Petitioners and of Mr. K.Govindarajan, DSGI, for the first respondent and Mr.S.Kameswaran, Government Advocate for the respondents 2 and 3, this Court made the following order: The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the order of this Court dated 24.01.2025 is under process of compliance and it appears that the petitioners are required to file certain affidavits and furnish the details / documents.
2. In view of the above, the petitioners shall comply with all the requirements of the first respondent within a period of six weeks and 2/4
thereafter, as directed by this Court, final orders shall be passed, sanctioning arrears of the Swatanthara Sainik Samman Pension to the petitioners from the date of their application. The petitioners shall furnish information and file the affidavit within a period of six weeks from today and thereafter, within eight weeks, the first respondent shall sanction the pension as directed by this Court, by order dated 24.01.2025.
