: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.06.2011 and 12.08.2020 and to provide an appointment of Teacher post in anyone of the existing vacancies of the Government Elementary School / High School on compassionate ground, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 1/3

2.The petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2020 seeking compassionate appointment has not been considered by the respondents so far. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2020 is directed to be disposed of, within a stipulated time limit.

4.In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
