Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.C.VAKEESWARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.ROBINSON, Government Advocate (Crl.Side)on behalf of the Respondent, while admitting the CRL RC., the court made the following order:- This exemption petition is closed in view of the judgment of this Court in the case of R.Ramamoorthy Vs. the Inspector of Police, Crime Branch, Erode reported in (2008) 1 MLJ (Crl) 1001 wherein, this Court has held that even in a case of revision against the conviction, the relief of suspension of sentence can be considered even if the accused has not surrendered.
