ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 379 I.P.C and Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, in Crime No.170 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had transported the river sand, illegally, without valid permission. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the quantity of sand involved is two unit. There are three previous cases pending against the petitioner. 4.Taking note of the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
