Respondent in both petitions COMMON PRAYER: The Criminal Original Petitions are filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to pass appropriate orders to dispose off the Discharge Petition in Cr.M.P.Nos.19199 and 19198 of 2019 in Crime No.1 of 2019 in C.C.Nos.1342 and 1344 of 2019, filed by the Petitioner which is pending on the files of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, [CCWI, W. Special Court, Tirunelveli Camp at Nagercoil in accordance with law.
For Petitioners : Mr.R.Ramesh For Respondent : Mr.R.M.S.Sethuraman, Addl. Public Prosecutor (in both petitions) COMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, (CCWI, W.Special Court), Tirunelveli Camp at Nagercoil to dispose of the discharge petitions filed by the petitioners.
2.The grievance of the petitioners in both the matters is that even though the discharge petitions have been filed by these petitioners way back in 19.09.2019, no progress has been made out and the matter has been still kept pending and without any reason, it has been frequently adjourned.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the applications have been heard and it is posted on 06.10.2021 for pronouncing orders. But the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it is not so.
4.However, since the matter pertains to the year 2019, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, (CCWI, W.Special Court) Tirunelveli Camp at Nagercoil, to dispose of the above said applications within a period of 15 days from the date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

After disposing the same on merits, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry. 5.With the above directions, these petitions stand allowed.
