Heard both sides. By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. No counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of the Respondents.

2. Admittedly, the Petitioner had given representation on 20.04.2016 before the Respondents-1 & 2 and the same was put to cold storage. It appears that she had paid the necessary fee for measuring/sub-dividing her land as per chellan No.24, dated 30.03.2016. But, till date, the representation dated 20.04.2016, is pending without any progress or disposal. Hence, she has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

Considering the fact that the Petitioner's representation, dated 20.04.2016, is pending before the Respondents-1 and 2, without any significant progress or disposal, at this stage, this Court, simpliciter, directs the Second Respondent/Head Town Surveyor, Kodaikanal Taluk, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District, to look into the representation of the Petitioner, dated 20.04.2016 and to dispose of the same, by passing a reasoned speaking order on merits, within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order (Of course after adhering to the Principles of Natural Justice by issuing notice to the Petitioner and others concerned if any, if situation so warrants). Needless for this Court to make a significant mention that the Petitioner is to render her assistance and unstinted co-operation to the Second Respondent/Head Town Surveyor, Kodaikanal Taluk, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District so as to enable the latter to do needful in her favour in the subject matter in issue, within the time afore stated.

With the above said Direction(s)/Observation(s), this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
