ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2019 and issue Patta bearing in house Door No.65A in the name of the petitioner, which is situated at Immanual Nadu Theru, Koomapatti, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.A.D.Ganeshamoorthi learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in respect of the property in Door No.65/A situated at Immanual Nadu Theru, Koomapatti, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, which is admittedly a natham poramboke land, has made an application to the respondents on 15.02.2019, to issue a patta and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, therefore, submits that, if the said representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

given to the respondents is decided by the respondents, especially, by the 2nd respondent, on merits, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 15.02.2019 would be decided by the 2nd respondent, on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction: "The respondents, especially, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.02.2019 and decide the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
