Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the endorsement so made, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
