ORDER
The present Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 05.03.2016, against the order passed by the District Registrar, Karaikudi.
2.Mr.V.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent and by consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though appeal was filed as early as on 05.03.2016, as far as the respondent is not taking any steps to dispose of the appeal. 4.In the above circumstances, the respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 05.03.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
