ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondents while widening the road have disconnected the water connection to his house and despite his request, even after completion of the work, they have not restored the water connection.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents based on the letter of the Executive Officer, Ayakudi Town Panchayat addressed to the Project Director, Highways Department, Dindigul in Na.Ka.No.441/2020/A, dated 14.07.2023 submits that permission for restoring the water connection is awaited and once permission is granted, the water connection would be restored.

3.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to restore the water connection to the petitioner's house within a period of two weeks from today. No costs.
