Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to interfere with his right to get private local channel connection from any of the private local cable operators at Sathankulam, Thoothukudi District duly appointed by the 1st respondent and consequently directing the 1st and 2nd respondents not to compel him to get private local channel connection from the 3rd respondent alone at Sathankulam, Thoothukudi District, by considering his representation, dated 16.12.2016. 2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Apprehending that the third respondent would create hindrance to the petitioner's Cable TV business, the petitioner had given a complaint by way of representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 16.12.2016. The petitioner apprehends that the third respondent is trying to interfere with his business and attempting to stall it.

4. In view of the impending threat to the petitioner's business, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.12.2016 and pass orders on its own merits, and after giving due opportunity of hearing to the third respondent and considering his objections, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that I have not expressed any views with regard to the petitioner's entitlement to the relief sought for by him.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
