Mr.A.Swaminathan, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent has produced the proceedings of the second respondent dated 23.12.2019, wherein it is stated the revised pension is being paid from September 2019 and arrears cannot be paid in view of G.O.Ms.No.142, Transport Department, dated 26.08.2019. This proceeding is in substantial compliance with the order passed in the writ petition. Leaving it open to the petitioner to challenge G.O.Ms.No.142 in the manner known to law, this Contempt Petition is closed.
