This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.93 of 2020 registered on the file of the first respondent.
2. The petitioners herein are figuring as accused. The defacto complainant Balakrishnan is present in person before me. He has been duly identified by Thiru.S.Seenivasan SSI of Police attached to Allinagaram Police Station, Theni District.
3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions from the police, submitted that the petitioners are having previous cases. The petitioners solemnly undertook before this Court that they will not indulge in any criminal activity in future. I made it clear that if this undertaking is breached, this Court will not hesitate to recall the order that is now proposed to be passed in this petition. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17688 of 2021 The defacto complainant Balakrishnan also does not want to pursue the matter. The impugned FIR is quashed. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
