ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner's wife passed away. Her death was duly registered and death certificate was also issued by the second respondent. However, her name had been mentioned as Indhira. All that the petitioner wants is that it should by reflected as "Indra Ghandi". The petitioner has enclosed his wife's Aadhaar card also. The petitioner is right in his contention that the name of the person as reflected in the Aadhaar card should be shown in the death certificate also. I, therefore, direct the second respondent to issue revised death certificate as sought for by the petitioner. This shall be done immediately and without any delay.
3.The writ petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. 11.07.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias 2/4
