COMMON PRAYER :-For Bail in Crime No.18/2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.
COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners /Accused, who were arrested on 14.06.2022 for the alleged offence under Section 420 IPC and Section 66(D) of Information Technology Act, in Crime No.18 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.Today, when the matters are taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the accused persons cheated not only the defacto complainant, but also several other https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
No.13547 of 2022 persons. The accused persons had committed online fraud and in which, several complaints registered in various States. The petitioners were secured from Bihar and remanded in this case. 3.This Court without going into the merits of the case, considering the completion of statutory period undergone by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant statutory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions.
4.Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are allowed and the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail, on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties (from local area) each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni, and on further condition that the petitioner shall stay at Theni report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
