ORDER

The petitioner got married to the respondent on 08.06.2016 as per Hindu Rites and Customs. The marital relationship between the parties appears to have come under strain. The respondent/husband filed HMOP No.72 of 2018 seeking divorce before the Sub court, Sivakasi. The petitioner is based in Thoothukudi. Therefore, it will be difficult for her to go over to Sivakasi and contest the proceedings there.

2.The petitioner is a woman. Hence, in the interest of justice, this Court withdraws HMOP No.72 of 2018 from the file of the learned Sub Judge, Sivakasi and transfers the same to the file of the learned Sub Judge, Thoothukudi. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
