O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, based on the complaint given by the second respondent relating to civil dispute, the first respondent is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the second respondent, now, First Information Report has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.70 of 2019 on the file of Aravayal Police Station, Sivagangai District. The investigation in the said case is pending and the first respondent is not harassing the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the fact that already, First Information

Report has been registered against the petitioner, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
