ORDER

CMP is filed to condone the delay of 68 days in filing the review application. Review application has been filed to review the order passed in CMP.(MD).No.9321 of 2019.

2. The review SR is filed to review the order passed in CMP. (MD).No.9321 of 2019 whereby this court dismissed the said petition stating the delay is very enormous and no sufficient reason has been assigned to condone the delay. The grounds taken in the present application would go to show that the petitioners herein viz., the Government departments were deputed for Election and other relief works and so that they could not follow up the Second Appeal and the delay may be condoned in the interest of justice.

3. A cursory reference to the reasons put forth in this petition would go show that A.S.90 of 1999 was decreed on 06.04.2000. CMP.(MD).No. 9321 of 2019 was dismissed for reasons of delay which was enormous. As such reasons cited in the affidavit that due to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Election of the year 2016 and Cyclone hit in 2017 was the reason not to follow up the matter immediately, could not be accepted by this court.

4. This court is not inclined to review the order dated 20.11.2019 as the petition has no merits. The CMP filed to condone the delay in filing the Review cannot be entertained. Accordingly, CMP is dismissed and Review SR is rejected. No costs.
